With the week I had off between getting out of school for the summer, and starting work, I have finally had boredom set in. I had my old ZR hood sitting up on a shelf in my garage, so I decided it was time to do something with it. It was already semi-stripped down, so I sanded it smooth, repainted it black, then dug out my airbrush. About an hour later, I finally had something worth looking at. Perfect? Far from...lots of screw ups. Good enough for a beater hood? Most certainly. I don't think I'm quite done yet...probably go in with some black and touch some stuff up...then see where I am from there.

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

Thanks for the comments.

I usually use some thin tape and mask off the flames. I checked my stock and am almost out of the stuff I use, and it wasn't worth the 80 mile round trip to go buy more...so...it didn't turn out as nice as it usually does (since it was completely free handed).

I hope to never use the hood anyway. It'll just look much nicer hanging on the wall...lol.
