got a couple of questions

1. Because the fusions come with the adjustable riding position, if you were to put a riser set up on, what number would best fit for the riser. Seeing as there are 7 different riding positions. I was thinking #3 or #4, but wasn't really sure. I'm about 5'6 and looking to put either a 4 or 5 inch riser on there.

2. Is a throttle/Brake extension required? I've done a riser setup on my old sled, but am not sure if it needs lengthening due to the adjustable positions

3. Because there are those black pieces that fit in the adjustable riding positions, what do you use to lock down the new riser setup for the adjustment not to move? I saw someone having a metal plate there but wasn't sure.

4.Has anyone used the original bars? I don't really want to go through all the trouble to put some fat bars on but if it's necessary, then i will.

Thanks a lot guys for your help.

1. I put a 3 inch riser in and I leave mine in the #5 Position, had no problems there.

2. If you want to be able to use rider select youre going to have to get wire extensions for all the handwarmer/reverse/headlight controls. And possibly a throttle extension, brake lines pretty long.

3. You dont have to mess with the rider select at all to put a riser on the handlebars.

4. I used the original bars with a 3inch block riser and had no problems. Over 3 inches and youre going to have to extend almost everything.

Heres my setup:

Yeah, ive seen your video on youtube, where did you get that smaller windsheild, did you use a pivot adapter as well? I'm thinking about getting the Billet risers. Did anything else needed to be extended for just the 3 inch riser?

I put one on my old fusion 3 inches I think and I didnt have to extend anything. I still used the rider select it worked fine with the riser

I just used a plain block riser, I didnt need anything fancy and it gets the job done because the mount for the handlebars is already straight up and down in the #5 position where I like it.
I got the windshield on purepolaris.com
I think it looks way better than stock, and it allows my handlebars/guards to clear the windshield now.

man, that firecat was a p.o.s i should have listened to everyone and not even started that topic. But since my dad has a fusion, it'll be pretty convinient. So i know a little bit about them already. Regardless, it's going to be a pretty bad ass sled. I'm thinking of putting a 3 or 4" billet riser on.

That firecat had problems comming out if its ass, the suspension was ****, it had been rolled a couple times, fram looks a little bent, a arms were bent, the hood was cracked and came off in seperate pieces, the seat was ripped beyond belief, the engine bay was a complete mess, there needed to be a ****load of rewiring done. the list just goes on.

Dude, read post 3.lol He said it all. I guess if you have a 3 inch you can't use your rider select..I'm just putting a 2 inch on mine. No need for any more I don't think and I'm 6'1. Stand up and no leaning over.

whoops, forgot he had posted that in here. One last question. I'm looking at those billet risers, would i need a universal adapter or just bolt on and go?
