1994 Polaris Storm 800 appox. 4700 mi. - $1100.00

The 94 Storm 800 is all stock yet other than the custom hood. This fall before season I went through the whole suspension with new bearings and new hyfax. Has new ski skins, new 8" carbides and new skid plate. Replaced all the drive shaft and jack shaft bearings. The track is in excellent condition and has 192 carbide studs in track with none pulled out. Everything works including the hand warmers. The chain case has been serviced and fuel was treated (Sea Foam) before storage this spring. I am sure I may have forgotten something that has been done to it or on it, but if anything you think you need to know just ask.
Sled is located near Waverly, IA 50677.

Yeah, I hear you on that. Ely, MN is a long way from me. I am 3 hours south of Minn/St. Paul. I am trying to sell a few of my older sleds so that I can buy one newer one. So far what I want to buy I have not found close to me either. I do have this priced to sell though. I figured if I priced it low enough people can afford to come get it a little easier.

Well, since I decided to keep it I went and put a 136" track, suspension, tunnel extension and 162 new studs in it. Also bought a set of violet/purple Polaris plastic skis, violet Polaris tunnel role grips, purple/pink aluminum bar hooks and a new Polaris tall windshield. I just got done spending about $800.00 on it so if I did sell it the price would be much higher than I wanted before. The way I look at it money talks and bull**** walks. Some one made me an offer I couldn't refuse I would sell it. The pictures here are before I did all the work.

I will try to do it over the weekend if possible. I just bought the skis and the tunnel grips and waiting to receive them and get them installed. I won't see them until next week sometime, but I will try to get photos of whats done so far. I have been very busy with work and trying to get ready for our Iowa State Snowmobile Assoc. convention next weekend. I will try my best.

ok thanks, there is no big rush with it i am just a big fan of that sled when i first saw it for sale on snowsnakes.com and i seen it was for sale again here but then you took it off and i was hoping you would sell it again and i know you have done alot of work to it and it is a beautiful looking sled and has been taken care of well. and i see you have alot of sled so i hope you are willing to get rid of it for a reasonable price and i hope to buy it soon.

I had a lot of interest in it on quite a few sites, but no one ever came up with the cash. In my frustration I tried to pull all the adds out there and had forgot the snow snakes add. I had sold several other sleds and just decided to give up selling this one. This add here was running long before I had it on snow snakes. It looks like you are a long ways away in Canada. Are you sure you want to make the trip.

Man i have been wanting a polaris storm for a while and couldnt find any close enought to me. if we made a reasonable deal and i came up with the money i would most definatly make a trip down there. *i just cant believe that you didnt sell it for 900$ i wish i would have known about that*

The original price on my Storm was $1100.00 and then I dropped it to $900.00. After I had no interest as you can see I had it posted back in June of 2008. After that I bought the used 136" track, suspension and tunnel extension that cost me $425.00. Then a I bought 162 carbide studs, single and double backers at a cost of $225.00. Then I purchased a set of used plastic skis and new aluminum tunnel rail grips at a cost of $195.00. Brand new Polaris tall windshield at a cost of $65.00. Now when I total everything up I have a price of $1810.00 US into the sled. Like I said earlier I have not received the skis or the grips yet so I have not gotten them installed. I did get a chance to get it out yesterday and get some photos, but never got them loaded and post from home yesterday. I will try to do that tonight. I guess if I were to sell it I want $1900.00US. I am not much for negotiating, so if that is more than you want to spend than I am sorry that's my bottom dollar. I will try to get the photos I took yesterday posted on here tonight.
