k guys last fall when i built my exhaust for my phazer i was dumb and just cut and welded on from the head pipes. but now that i have time i would like to make it a slip on version so i can convert to stock cuz when my lil bro takes the sled over the stock pipe will need to be put back on cause its super nosiy.

my idea was to make the pipe go slighty wider then cut like flanges and a exhaust clamp. also there would be this special steel wool for exhausts to seal it up. wat u guys think? is there a better way to do it?

i ride where its steep n' deep :P

it all depends on how the original mounts unless you want to modify the stock one to except the new way of mounting. if you dont care i would go with a slightly larger pipe that needs to be slightly forced on and mabe a couple springs.

well the original exhaust is all one peice so i had to cut it a cpl inches afer the the head pipes joine then i welded on my new pipe. so there is no stock mounting, thats why i want to make the pipe slip on so i can change to the stock if need be.

I say you just use and pipe that is a little bigger with not much space inbetween, and then get some exhaust silicone to close up the space, and if you can find a small enough exhaust clamp do that. If you can't find a clamp use some springs.

Ya basically but mods hate it when you do a "x2" post.
