I'm going to be staying in Centennial on the East side of Medicine Bow this Winter. Is it possible to ride up and over the mountains and make it to Enchanment on a sled? There's something I have wanted to see for along time and I don't think I'll be in the area very often. The place I'm actually looking to ride my snowmobile to is just East of Enchanment and just South of 230 by a couple of miles at the most.

So can a person sled from Centennial, over the range to Enchantment and back in a days ride? Much appreciate any feedback on this. Been wanting to visit this specific place for a couple years now.

Obviously I'm meant to say the town of Encampment, not Enchanment. Wyoming doesn't have a Disneyworld.

LOL was pretty sure that's what you meant, sorry can't help you out, never rode the Snowies ........ yet. I could make a couple calls to some friends who live over there though, find out if it's doable or not.

Yea, if you could make a call or two and get the real info if it's even possible that would be aweosme. From looking at the trail map below, it would be about 20-25 miles off the beaten path of the groomed trails. Going up and over the range or around it doesn't appear to be much of an issue. Driving a sled parallel to the road for twenty miles or so may be.
