Psi is rated at 18.5 hp over stock and i personally dontlke the center dump
slp is rated at 16 hp overstock but i heard psi inflates their numbers really bad and i would almost swear by slp

Why dont you like the center dumps? Im trying to figure out what the pro's/cons are between the pipes. SLP makes a good set of pipes, but it seems that everyone has them.. I would kind of want something a bit different, ya' know?

I don't like the center dumps either. They are a pain to get the springs hooked up from the pipe to the silencer.

I'm currently using a set of SLPs on a 98 xc 600 motor on water. So far I don't have any complaints, and they have definitely performed as well as the PSI center dumps that I was using in the winter.

A good friend of mine has been running HTGs on big block non ev 600/700s for years. IMO, HTG makes some of the best pipes for these motors.

Hot seat makes a great set of pipes for that Liberty twin.

I have a set of PSI's on my 800, they look just like the ones in the picture above.

They work just fine and really I don't have any issues with them but if I was to buy a set new I would get SLP's due to the fit and finish that SLP pieces generally have. The PSI's aren't junk but they aren't great either.

SLP Head
V-force reeds
EPI clutch Kit
Cobra windshield
ROX risers and bar pad

I had PSI's on my 1997 RMK, they ran great, but GAWD, were they noisy. If quiet is on your list of concerns, you may be disappointed by the PSI's.
