	wide roller clutches - what does this mean? started by duiker700

	What is the difference with a wide roller clutch and a regular one? Will a wide roller from an 800 still work on a 700? Thnaks a lot. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Edit Topic

	The difference is in the width of the rollers the cam weights ride on. The wide roller clutches are a bit stronger in that area with a bigger bearing surface. An 800 clutch will work just fine on a 700, just put in the appropriate weighs/spring for the 700. Rating: +1 Quick Edit Full Edit

	The 700 and 800 both take the same belt, the offset is also the same, 5/8". The clutch will work fine. Rating: +1 Quick Edit Full Edit
