I've got mine off right now and thats exactly what I did with mine. So far I think its going to work. We'll have to see how it holds up when the snow flies!

I dont see why it wouldn't work. That stuff is pretty durable.

it was tight. this one time i put 89 octane instead of 87 and my sled went like 60 times faster and i could water skip because it went really fast. i recomend 89 or 91 to anyone.

what is the porpose? add strength and not dent and scratch them up? or to make the snow not sick?

I did it because my a-arms were red and I wanted black ones to complete my black/white color scheme. That was my only reason for doing them. I doubt they'll add any strength but I'm hoping it will not scratch or peel off. I think that the snow will actually stick more to it since it is a rough surface vs. smooth paint. I'm not really too concerned with the extra 13.719 ounces of snow that will stick haha

It was cheaper than having them powdercoated too
