I got 41/96 studs off with a allen wrench and socket so far....getting kind of tired stripping allens and having to grind them down. I dont want to cut holes in the track to get them out but I was thinking about using a grinder with 1/16 thick metal disc(s) to get the "pain in the ass" studs out. Any ideas on how well that would work or any other ideas?

Took mine out with a cut off wheel. It worked pretty well, you just have to loosen up the nut on the stud so you can get the cut of wheel in between the track and the nut.

If the threads are in decent shape you can use an impact or a good cordless drill with a deep socket. I pulled out about 150 or so and didn't really have too many issues. Just make sure you are using a good quality allen wrench on the back side or it will round off every now and then.

I used a air ratchet and an allen wrench to get mine off. They were about 3 years oldand bent and it was not to bad.

I suppose that would work for a couple, but for 100+ studs.......forget that!

i used a high speed dremel with a grinding bit to grind the nut in one spot and then pop it off with a screw driver and it worked really good

Right on..I tried a dremel maybe last week with a diamond cutting disc. It worked BUT it took like 5 minutes for a stud and when that 5 minutes was up..the disc lost its diamond plating...haha.

your better off using a grinding drum (like one made of stone) that works better than the diamond disks
