I would say my favorites are Horseshoes and Jarts. I just saw a game that I intend to try this weekend "Polish Horseshoes"
Polish Horseshoes;
Lawn Jarts; (I loved this game until the friggin' saftey police yet destroyed another great American fun pass-time.
Whata' you guys have? or anything you just made up?

Jarts rocked back in the day! I have a washer toss, bean bag toss and the golf balls on a string throwing at the 3 posts, its called lots of different names!

Croquet by far. Everyone has to put in a $25 bet and you MUST drink throughout the entire game. I thought it wouldn't be fun before I played but I swear it was one of the times.

I scored some Jarts a few years back. Some of the fins are cracked, if anybody knows where to get replacment fins please let me know.
One handed backyard games are the best as they require a counter-balancing item in the other hand, idealy suited for beer.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
