you have to cut out the tunnel and its not a U-cooler then rivit it in you will also need to rig up some plumbing to it. There are other ways to go about this as well. An 02/03 sno pro rear heat exchanger kit also works well in an 04 and you can rivit on some old t-cat coolant rails inside the tunnel or under the running boards for the plumbing
Skilies and quinlan both can show you how they did their sleds

A complete firecat cooling system works well, but isn't as easy as it sounds. The rear heat exchanger is basically a piece of the tunnel, so the tunnel must be cut for it to work. If you cut the hole too large you're kind of screwed...

You will need to find a place to mount the coolant bottle under the hood.

If you use the Fcat cooling, the lines run on the outter edges of the running boards...they simply rivet on. I believe you have to use them on opposing sides, as the bends work better that way...I don't particularly remember.

You can kind of see how it works in this picture. Lines running down the sides, heat exchanger in the middle, riveted in.

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

If you follow the link in my signature you can see how I did the whole conversion, including the cooling. The last 4 pages I think are on the cooling. You deffinatly dont need a full firecat cooler to keep that little 440 motor cool. The set up that I did was even over kill, the cheapest easyest way to do it is to mount an 02 cooler on the airbox and plumb it. Its not pretty, wont give you the best resutlts, but it will work in a pinch if you really want to scab it together.

SKILIE= wheelie for sleds cuz they dont have wheels!!!!
