If your going to ride it on the track mostly or even race the competion bike is the way to go and it could be either two or four stroke. If you plan on trail riding mostly then the trail is best in either two or four stroke. If you want a competion bike for trail riding I would recommend a two stroke over the four stroke because it is a gas an go bike, the new four strokes require oil changes extremely regularly and are a little higher maintance then the two stroke and cost less to buy but don't hold their value like a four stroke.

Power wise it doesn't matter which you choose they are roughly equal between two and four strokes now. the only difference is where you prefer the power to be at consistent power go four a hard snap go two.

other then that its 100% up to you and how you like to ride.

I got both...

... If I was to buy another bike (which hopefully will happen soon) It would be a 4 stroke, It's more for my style of riding.

If I don't keep this sled for the whole season, I promise to never sign on to Snowmobile Fanatics again.

i agree with driftpounder, because if you do buy a 4stroke race bike, you obviously got to rebuild them just like a 2stroke but yeah not as often. Around here, No one really knows how to work on those 4 stroke race bikes because there new. Theres top end, bottom end, vavles, carb needs to be ajusted everytime you put an after market part on...my friend has a 450...hasn't got it completly dialed in since he rebuilt. over all for you id get something like a cr 125
