Check out the new 509 Films movie trailer: EVOLUTION. I took a bit different approach with the teaser. A bit more mellow and creative, but still with all the high octane footage of course.

EVOLUTION, was filmed entirely in 1080i HD and will be available on both DVD & Blu-Ray. Estimated shipping date is September 2008.

We're taking pre-orders on the website for DVD, Blu-Ray, and the new Evolution 2.0 tshirt. Just make a note of the shipping dates as they won't ship right away.

On the trailer page, I have every format and quality level under the sun. Best quality is either the Flash High, or Quicktime High. Also have Windows Media (poor quality), Youtube, IPOD downloadable version, and a downloadable 720 HD version (1080i version coming soon).

It is 1080i. I don't think you'll find a 1080p snowmobile dvd on the market, nor will the average eye see the difference between 1080i or 1080p.

It will be available on DVD as well as Blu-Ray. Even with standard DVD the quality is phenominally better than traditional standard def DVD's. The HD source makes a big difference. Combine that will an upconverting DVD and you will be more than satisfied with the clear picture without spending a few hundred on a blu-ray player. But of course, it will not measure up to an actual 1080i Blu-Ray disc.
