The more i think if this the more anger comes from the sadness, the simple fact that we all have lost a dear friend, wife, mother. and the guy that hit her lived.... its just not fair. I Hope he has a hard time living with himself after this and gets everything he deserves for taking her from us so soon.

I also thought this was a joke. Like she was just leaving the forum or something. Even though i have ever talked to her on the forum. I noticed everyone got along with her very well. When i read this thread my heart dropped. I was very supprised. This is horrible news. It is very hard to loose a loved one..espessially someone as happy and enthousiasic like her.

Rest in peace.

Very sad and shocking news. She seemed like one kind and facinating person to have known. Never met her or spoke with her in person, but was looking forward to meeting her on a Fanatics ride in NY sometime. It's unfortunate myself and many others on the site are now robbed of that opportunity.

Thoughts and prayers to friends and family,
Rick

Appearently her mother is so distraught, she has tried to burn the building at the intersection down. The building is slated to be razed next week, it was planned to be razed b4 this accident happened. Laura was very well known throughout the CNY area, and she had a special manner about her. People from 17 to 60 seem to have known her, or worked with her, its as if she was a local hero......I know I will miss her, just the thought that on my birthday, she shot me a Happy 40 PM, and also when my sons Bday came about. She is very missed in this area, and I never got the chance to meet her to ride, and it pains me also, that such a simple thing as a seat belt may have made all the difference in the world....RIP ripn, Im gonna miss you

Im trying to figure out why a building that is a pile a crap wouldnt have been torn down man, many years ago?
Especially a building that was causing so many problems.

Torching it would have been the best thing for that building. I probably would have done the same.

Rippen Mom your in our prayers.

I still find myself coming back to this link and reading posts all over again. It was always fun to get the "female" perspective on many issues. I think the most interesting things is that she could post in a thread which was mainly guys arguing back and forth........and you read her post, and she made the guys looks like blabbering idiots.....I always respected that.

It was cool to get PM's from Laura since she was so sarcastic, but accurate in what she said. A great contributor to SF is gone, and noticeably so.

I just saw this today when I returned. Horrible news.

RIP Laura. We talked a little on here and she was a stand up girl. Stories like this really hurt. I hope she is surrounded by plenty of powder up there. Watch over us all Laura.
