Indeed that is true, one of my friends is at her bf's house in bala, and they have about 2 and a half feet of snow.
This is very good.
Lefty you going to be in Haliburton at all around x-mas time?
Yes sir Indeed I am, I'm going to be up around new years. December 31st till January 4th or something like that.

There's a nice little snowstorm going on here in Barrie. It's apparently going to warm up to + 5 and start raining. Let's hope it doesn't, that would suck nuts.

I doubt it'll get that warm, like i said on another board, how the hell do you go from -12 to +8 back to -12 in just a day, It takes a lot longer for the weather to get that warm.
On a side note, I'm now on my Christmas Break, Finished my last exam this morning :) Cheers Ladies.

From HCS.com in the Ontario forum, a member said that they lost 12-14 inches of snow from the rain recently. This sucks nuts too. Hopefully we get some cold weather soon, Mother Nature stops being a b*tch, and get's some snow for us!

That's good to hear then. Makes me not as sad. I'll more than likely trailer into Bracebridge for the most part, since the trails near my folks place are garbage

****ty weekend here, high of 4 degress, supposed to reach a high of 9 for haliburton tomorrow, There calling for 10-15cm of snow for next saturday and supposed to be in the -1 to -10 range for the weeks. From what i've heard, trails are starting to shape up, and hopefully don't get destroyed from this weekends ****ty weather.

A lot of snow melted, Was told that there is still about a foot and a half of snow and 2 feet in some areas...Lakes have opened up again in spots, but for the most part there is a thin layer of ice with a ton of water sitting on top, hopefully with this cold temps, those lakes should freeze right up.

just want to point out that northern ontario is still way above most of you. So you guys are more like central ontario. Up by Thunder Bay, there is at least 3 ft. of snow, but it has no bottom to it. Hopefully it'll melt a bit or rain soon so we can develope some kind of base.
