+1 on what Dodger said. Adding the SLP pipe will flow more air (more airflow = more HP potential). If you don't rejet, you will be running lean and in some conditions, maybe lean enough to burn holes in the pistons. SLP has safe jetting requirements for their pipes, just make sure you use the right year. 2002 jetting is a lot different than 2003 because of a jet needle/needle jet change, for example.

after using several slp pipes on different sleds xc800 prox 700 and prox2 700, ive found that slp's BASE line jetting is extremely rich. IMHO i would start with your snowmobiles stock jetting and find your own base line and work from there. always keep and eye on your plugs and wash. another thing you might run into with adding a pipe is clutching and gearing. you will most likely need to clutch the sled to match the pipe then gear it accordingly.(sp) there is alot to concider when doing mods like this. also your intake and reeds will play a part in this as well.

Before I continue, if I don't keep this sled for the whole season, I promise to never sign on to Snowmobile Fanatics again.

2 inch track will not clear your tunnel front cooler unless you change the drive sprockets, if you do change the drives your gearing will change.

ive heard your could run up to 2" track as long as your port the track for the cooling strips.

exactly right addrenjunky. I just put the new camoplast cobra track on my sled and it barely clears. the lug length on that is 1.35 may i add. Cool looking track for sure with excellent reviews.

If you put a pipe on you will have to do a couple of things. Its breathes better but also needs more air. You will also have to re-clutch it. There is no point to add a pipe if you don't run the rpms the pipe is made for. Go to site like dodger said they will tell yuo everything you need to know
