Sorry for the way the quote looks, I just didn't want all that other text, I wasn't trying to change what it meant.
Either way, I hope it all works out, I guess as long as guys who know how to ride out there understand that we are rookies and we're gonna screw up, then it should all be good...
Every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. That means every day you see me, that's the worst day of my life.

just finished a deal on a 144 track off a 06 iq rmk. has around 1500miles on it and no missing lugs or real damage. paid a fair bit but its hard to find 144 2"+ tracks as most mountain sleds are 151 or longer. still should work out great. here are some pics.
cheers

The snow isnt looking deep, thats for sure! and the weather around here is not accurate the slightest! changes more than BRP changes his sleds. there is a foot and a half up in the riding areas now, and none in town anymore, and about 6" where we can start riding...everyone pray! it'll pick up.

Hey Kurt I thought we were leaving on the 30th to come home. I know this sounds weak but I HAVE to be back in time to go out for newyears. Is it possible to leave after riding on the 30th? Leaving on the 31st is just pushing it as far as my time line goes. let me know.

We will be home on the 31, we could leave on the 30 in the afternoon after the ride, daylight is short at that time of yr so prob will be off the mnt by 4 pm. and can start working our way home. Elkford is only about 13 hrs from the peg.

I would feel better about leaving on the 30th after riding if you dont object. Its just that after 13-15hrs in a truck i dont think i would feel like going out for newyears and then the g/f would kill me. I would rather have time to unload the sled and get stuff put away then rest before i have to go do anything.

Ahh, you guys are KILLING me with this. Yeah, I know its self induced but thats not the point. Sounds like this trip this year is going to be a freakin' roit. Sure wish I was there when you guys go.
Jeff, you and your buddies will have a blast regardless of how many times you got to stop and dig. Its part of the adventure. Jonesie and I found out that the second year is even better cause you know what not to do and that frees up a bit more riding time. How have you been by the way?
Oh,and 1 more thing. Trees bad, try to stay away if you can. They can suck you in and wreck your day.
Cheers,
Ryan

It would be cool to finally meet another SF member in Europe of all places haha. I will probably come back for the summer again though if your still living over here, I haven't visited Sweden yet maybe we could meet up then.

mountain memories also rents all that stuff they are right on the highway on the way in and out of the mtns. I'm good freinds with the ppl there for those that need to rent a beacon probe and shovel i could give them a call and keep some reserved to make sure everyone has what they need.

Got some pow today, and the temps are staying low. and more snow is in the forecast. I've heard Crown, about 30 minute drive back into alexandra has a few feet alreaddy. Might be an option to hit that up if we have enough trailers and people for one of the days.
This December is going to be the most epic month in history for me...haha.

i called mountain memories today and left a message since no one picked up. i will call again tomorrow to find prices and see if we can "reserve" beacons
for those intrested i have a person selling 2 like new sos beacons for 175 cdn each. i was going to possible pick one up for myself and my brother happens to live in the same city and would be willing to pick them up and bring them out when he comes home for xmas. i then could bring out west with me there for negating any shipping costs.
if anyone is intrested let me know and i can put you in contact with him.
cheers
