Well, I hate to say it but looks like Cody and I won't be making this trip. The time of year is no good and funds in my department are quite low, after christmas shopping and whatnot they will be even lower and I want to go to the SF ride in Isabella more than I want to go mountain riding.

Maybe some other time when I've got more cash laying around. Buying that Switchback kinda used up most of my "for fun" money.

Every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. That means every day you see me, that's the worst day of my life.

well thats sucks p-man but i am possibly in the same boat. I finally went to the doc to get my foot xray'd after about a week of killer pain.(gf made me go) only to find out i had a small frature that due to me hobbiling around on got bigger. Doc says im no physical activity beside just walking for the next 4-6 weeks minium. I am still hoping to go and am going back in 3 weeks to see how it is healing, if the doc says its looking good then i am in but this will have to be a last minute decision. Sucks big time since i dont think i will have time to head out west after the newyears. I also run the risk of not being able to go to the sf ride but since that is a little less physical we will see. the important thing is not to cause myself future problem or pain by not giving it the time it needs with in reason.

in all honesty it looks like my riding season wont even start till late jan. which really only gives me a little over a month to ride. when you really think about it im not sure its worth pulling the sled out for maybe a 300 mile season.

now im really depressed

I will be flying back out to Alberta on the 28th. I cannot say forsure what the plan is but I think myself and a few others will be going to McBride/Valemount or Blue River. Rode McBride 2 weeks ago and the snow was starting to build up. Since then there has been great snow falls so...should be prime come the new year.
