That set up is looking nice.
It's going to make a noticeable difference in handeling when you are standing up.

For the kill switch, I like the tether.
It's actually good to ride with it any way in the mountains.
They don't cost too much and work well. The one that works on Polaris is the one that conects the circut to kill the motor.
It's the brown and black wire that you are working with.

Sorry I forgot about the throttle part, we had the Powermadd ones there too.
The displays were all Powermadd's set up with Polaris thumb flippers.

That Saturday was just so busy for us all day, it was phenominal and very fast all day.
We actually beat my 2 day show record on Saturday alone.
Your Dad was really cool. I could see that he takes a real interest in seeing you get set up properly,
and it's always nice seeing riding as a family thing.

I take my wife and kids up all the time.
It's good.

Now I'm off tomorrow to SLC to do it again there for a Friday Saturday show.
2 1/2 weeks ago we were in Denver, the week before that here in Boise,
and in 2 weeks after SLC, we have a 1 day show in Spokane.

I do love my job and doing the shows is always a great time,
but at about this point in the schedule, I start getting pretty tired too.
My wife and I call it the "rock star schedule". lol

I am almost finished with the bar setup. I know it seems like a while but since we havent had any snow yet, the drive to get it done just hasnt been there. The bars, raiser, and mtn bar are done. I got my hand warmers hooked up and grips put on. And instead of lengthening all the wires that lead to the left side hand controls, I made up my own little system. I decided to eliminate the stock brake and go with a wilwood brake. By doing this I took apart the stock brake and controls and fabbed up my own brackets to mount the hand controls in between the 2 pivot raisers using the existing mounting holes that hold the brake and controls on the bars. Im waiting on my brake kit to come in this week and hopefully should have it all put together. I think with the 7" raiser the bars ended up being a little over 8 1/2" over stock. I also spent a little more than I first had planned on, but overall I am more than happy with how it all turned out. Tell me what ya think!

I like it.
I really like how you moved the controls down to the top of the steering post.

^^ JW, are you kidding. I mean, no offense. I have a 4.5" riser with pro taper bars, and my 700 had a 4.5" riser with Rev 440 bars, and they are just right ( IMO ) for me.

I wouldn't take advice from someone who is most likely pushing 5'5"

I would find someone who is your height and see what they've got, that would give you the best idea of what you need

I like my stock bars and the height of them even, but I will be going with a 2" riser sometime this season just to give myself the ability to stand up without hunching too much

I am 5'11" btw.

Epic.

I am absolutely in love with this bar setup, Im 6'1" and still growing so its perfect for me. I also am never sitting down though. My wilwood brake came yesterday and I just had to get a different fitting because the extended brake line I first ordered was setup for a stock polaris brake. I called student driver at gravity works and hes sending it out tomorow. Once I get that i'll be done for at least a little while :). Next mod on the list is a diamond s mesh hood. My buddy had one on his 900 last year and he sold the sled for a new 800 dragon so im going to buy his old hood from him. It should look pretty sick

My buddy went to pick up his dragon in idaho and while he was there he picked me up a tether. It was the factory polaris one and the install was simple. All I had to do was plug it into the ignition, drill a 1/2 inch hole and mount it up. Hard to believe at the beginning all I wanted was a new set of bars huh? lol but I am more than happy with how this project has gone and thank everyone for the help
