I bought this sled with a blow up motor. I put a 1996 680 with 1996 mag and CDI. call Larry Rugland to have the timming and carb tunning right. The previous owner have it all wrong: no wonder the piston melt down.

yesterday I tried 500 feets grass racing (for the fun) I don't take the time to gear down to 19:40 (recomended for short track) I let the gear 23:41. my best time was 6.3 sec, 79mph at 500 feets. the same time and speed as the RX1 and Apex.

I used to have lrm pipes on my ultra, but took them off at 8000 miles in fear of blowing to motor. You should put a sound clip on here so that people can enjoy the sound of them bad boys just as much as you

Wow that,s a clean sled, I'm assuming you've got that extra 12 synched down to make it sit like that or did you do a swap?

Yep, took the X-tra 12 off and swap to the X-tra 10. And for the front, I open the fox shock and put a 1 1/2 inches spacer on the rod (need 3 X part arctic cat 0603-282 1.000 spacer shock) same oil level and gas spec for the shock.

great transfert

for the sound clip, I'm working on that. try to make a smaller file.

My gearing was 23/41 (not good for this type of drag, better 19/40). I don't have the time to change it.

drive cluth 10/A (55 gram) SLP spring green pink 160/340 (4800rpm-8500rpm)
driven 42/34 Blue Polaris spring

My best race:

reaction time = .860sec
60 feets = 1.700sec
500 feets = 6.341sec

my reaction time sucks, I know. its my first real drag so please be kind.

max. speed = 79.67mph at 500 feets
