Well, it's been a while since I've posted, and I was reading the newspaper in my little mormon community, and I see that the LDS church has just approved to build a new temple in Calgary B.C. and I wanted to lay a blog out there to see how my beer drinking sled-head friends feel about this addition to their extremely cool cow town. I won't bother stating my own opinion of them, it's kinda a moot point ....

WHERE IS CALGARY, BC? Lets see here, Calgary is in Alberta and BC is a different Province. Hmm, I see by your sig that you live in Idaho Falls, ID. The ID doesnt stand for "Idiot" does it? Calgary is NOT in BC. Learn a bit about your northern neighbors befoe you post.

Give the guy a break. He screwed up which province Calgary was in, big deal... You could have just said "Calgary is in Alberta, not British Columbia" and moved on to answer his question.

I am a fellow beer drinker and moved to Utah of all places. Far from Mormon. They have a huge influence on the culture here (mainly alochol pertains to me). Putting up a temple in a town pretty much just means there are enough of them there to justify a temple.

Man this is weak. I'm very offended that people on this forum (my friends) who I share info and b.s. with would attack me and ridicule me over a geographic typo. I don't know If I will be back or not. this is messed up.

^^^ Exactly.
Their beliefs are different than mine,
but so what. They have the right to believe as they do,
just the same as I have the right to believe as I do.
So they are building a Temple, It doesn't change how others (Us people of other than their faith) live or think, so I'm not understanding what the big deal is.

The fact is that if people were to try to regulate their religion,
then other religions would surely come up next, maybe yours or mine.
