I like the M7 anyday. Simply because it's newer and I like the Mountain/Firecat/Crossfire Chassis'.

M7 or 700 Rmk iq. Both handle like a dream. Both have plenty of power. Its more personal preference between the two than a competition. I am of course talking about the 07 and beyond 700 Rmk. Not to say the older iq's are bad its just they aren't near as good.

As for reliability, if it has tits, tires or burns gas, you're going to run into problems.....sooner or later.

Because I now have 2 of those cats in the family, the 02 Mountain Cat 800 153 and 05 M7 153, I have to say they are both good but I do think I'm gonna love the M7. The Mountain Cat is yet to leave me stranded though.

The M7 is in its own category. Dont even know why you threw the others up there... The IQ RMK 700 was a turd, and the 600 does not compare in power at all. Plus the M and IQ chassis handle pretty similar in the deep.

One quick question, are you talking about the 755 cleanfire 700 from 2006, or the newer 700(2007-09)? I would have to say go with the M7 or the IQ RMK. Both are excellent machines.
Personally I would have to go with the IQ RMK, just because I am more biased towards them.
My friend has a 2005 M7 that runs great, the only issue he has had with it is cooling in hardpack conditions when its warmer out. If the snow is deep and/or the temperature is cold out, no cooling problems.

I would go with the M7 but honestly, since you put trail in there, I would go with the Crossfire 700 or 800.

Of course Im gonna pick the M7. I like to ride powder fields, drift banks, small hills, and the occasional trip to some mountains. I only like to ride the trail while Im looking for the good places to play. My M does everything I want and then some in the conditions I ride. The floatation, lug height, and easy flickability make it a difficult sled to beat in the powder. I know my buddies XF cant even look at some of the places my sled takes me.

I do not own a regular IQ RMK 700, it is the RAW chassis 700CFI. Big difference between the bigblock 755 and the 700CFI. I love my sled. Absolutely love everything about the chassis, but I could always use more power... If you were to compare the RAW RMK 700CFI to the M7 than it is a different story. That really comes down to personal preference because they are both great sleds. I think the 700CFI has a few more features being newer than the M7 but they both are outstanding sleds.

IQ 600, 700, 800 RMK. I LOVE mine. I went from an Edge 800 to the 600, and only had two instances where I missed the HP of the 800. The IQ is definitely a rider's sled, the transition from sitting to standing is sooo much easier than on the Edge. At the end of the day, I'm not near as sore or tired riding the IQ. There is definitely a difference between the 2006 "700" that is built off the failed "900" engine design and the 2007-08 small block 700. That engine was definitely not ready for prime time. The 700 Dragon would have been what I am riding had the dealer had one in stock when I REALLY needed a sled. But I like the 600 and will keep it for at least the next several years. I like that HO 600 engine so much I got another one (2006) for the wif over this summer.

Cat M series are light and nimble as well, but it's 90 miles from here to a dealer... so Polaris gets the nod.

700 IQ is gona have a better ride and still has a great chassis with good power and the m7 has a great chassis but kinda sucky ride and still has decent power. the iq 600 for being a 600 has some decent power plus good chassis. so those are my three pick's..i have a 05 polaris IQ 900 rmk 166 and i love it.

05 rmk 900 166x2.4, fire n ice airbox and intake vents, slp powder pro's and holtz spindles, tri city front bumper, better boards, slp vents, compfusion motor mounts,06 pistons, mmp billet 8" inner big wheel kit.
96 polaris ultra, psi tripple pipes, boysen reeds,151x2 track

I have riden every one of the sleds you listed. I had a 900 MTN cat which has awesome power but broke the crank shaft at around 2500 miles, not to uncommon for a cat 900 to do. The MTN cat 800s had a piston recall that you will want to make sure has been done, and the power did not impress me for being a 800. The M7 is a pretty good chassis but I felt that it was under powered compared to the Edge RMKs I was riding with at the time. The IQ 600 was very nimble and the best MTN chassis I have ever riden, but in the real deep pow the 600 could use a little extra power. The 700 is a torquey powerhouse and a all around good sled. I would pick the IQ chassis regardless of what motor you decide to get with it.

Current Line Up
-09 RMK Assault
-06 IQ R 600HO
-01 ProX 600
-95 XCR 600
