Personally, I thought this was the worst show to date. I was amazed at the prices there, and the dealers were not open to any kind of barganing. Or maybe it was just with me? I took a lot of money, and only spent a little on a tilt bed lift shock. Picked that up for $35.

It seemed like there was 1 Moped for every snowmobile there this year. I almost bought an electric one for my daughter LOL!

I noticed not a lot of people walking around with anything in their hands except for the $3 pops that were being sold at the food vendors. I was only there for about an hour and a half. I did watch some of the races, and one of the guys stood his sled straight up and down. That was entertaining. I do enjoy the races as well.

Anyway, I thought the show wasn't as good this year. And I was interested in knowing what you other fanatics thought about it. The Novi Snow show is the weekend after Halloween.I'll go there since I live about 20 minutes away.

I only walked through the midway area. I wanted to check out the new Mich. made sled, so thats the only reason I went over that way.
I thought the swap was great. Many, many, buyers and more sellers than last year. Then again, there should have been because there was no swap on Sunday this year. I figured I would get a idea of the the economy by the no. of sleds for sale. I don't believe there were any more than last year. Prices seemed real fair but far from dirt cheap. They just need to let the sellers in at first light so they can be set up at 9. The line of trucks and trailers was to the road and beyond by the time they let them in at 8am. Some of them in line at 8 didn't get in and parked until 9.

this jumped in my truck and came home with me from Hastings.

Dodger-So was that the Prox with no engine? That went fast. Didnt look like anything new sold but a fair amount in the swap meet. It didnt look like the economy was stopping anyone on sat. and it was hot out.

I spent 3 days collecting all my spare parts, pricing them and loading them. Unloaded them at the swap, loaded back up what didn't sell. And still have to unload what didn't sell. I spent $30.00 to get in and swap and only sold $32.00 of parts, never doing that again. I was amazed that noone picked up more parts. I did get to meet a few new members and that's always nice.

yep, that was the one with no powerplant. Been looking for a nice chassis, and that one is nice. I think I bought it around 10AM or so. I watched him unload it and went over to check it out. The color scheme caught my eye so I made him a offer......Another walk though for me later and he stopped me and accepted my offer. He found an engine he wanted and needed cash......

I thought the show was pretty good a little warm for me though. I felt like a kid in a candy store!! My friend did find a recoil for his cat for a good price, the guy even pulled it off for him.(it was still on a motor) I was real tempted to pick up the phazer parts sled but decided not to at the last minute.

Sorry I didn't recognize you as well...I was in Budshackracers sale spot being far from helpful. 98700xcbb was there as well(I had to find the deals for him). I wonder if someone bought the red edge sled that had 1800 dollars on it. It needed some things but I bet 1500 would buy it at noon.

I thought about it, but am happy I came home with what I did. A XCR 800 mill will fit in the Prox nicely. It will make a nice screamer that Polaris should have made.

I don't know about nothing there was a better deal.....I seen some great deals, but you had to get there early to get them.

Hey GotMud, I was looking for ya, but with so many vendors and having never met you!!!! Looking at the pictures, I do remember the black and red Polaris though. You were on the outside row of vendors near the parking lot.
As far as purchases, there is nothing I need. Me and a buddy went to get us set in motion for the snow season. The drags are fun to watch, but damn are some of those things LOUD!
Hopefully I can meet up with some of you on the trails this season.
