I guess itll work if it fits. Just take your time. Ive seen sleds strapped on top of wood 4ft above the top of the truck so anything is possible.

I've seen cheap cargo vans at auctions that I wanted to buy for a sled hauler. The ones that have an extra 2 feet added onto the back would easily hold a long track. The mini-van idea and picture is hilarious!

I know a guy that hauls his dirtbikes and snowmobile in a Ford cargo van. If I knew I wouldn't be hauling anyone elses sled and only mine I'd buy one for it lol.

I just sold my 89 Polaris recently, and the guy picked it up in a 78 Suburban.
If it was 3" longer we could have closed the back up completely lol

If I didn't get a garage this year I was going to get a smaller type bread truck and convert it to be a "mobile garage". Room for the sled in the center with tool racks on both sides and a bench along the passengers side. Then also mount a small propane heater in there. Sled, parts, tools and heat all in one convenient package.

Me and my dad ( before we had a trailer, or truck ), we would haul sleds one at a time in our 99' Dodge Grand Caravan, then in the back of our 01' Grand Caravan. The inviter, phazer, and citation fit great into the back of the van. The Thundercat however, didnt. The thundercat was a little to wide, but the Z440 ( which overall, is standard size for a snowmobile ) fit right in.

I used to haul my sled around to snocross races in my '86 GMC rally van. I lived away from home going to school and part of the season it was the only place to keep my sled....just worked on it outside. A lot of times I'd sleep in the van in a mummy bag at the races. It was pretty funny going to Nationals and being surrounded by semi trailers and 5th wheels while I was camped out like a dirt ball. Good times.....cheap racing too.

that van would be perfect because if you dident care much about it you could just drive the sled down the front to unload it!
