It's an ice storm out side along the coast of ME. Branches breaking in the woods and power outages. Up in the mountains they were calling for almost a foot of snow and now it's 4-6 inches. If we lose a lot of trees, the trails are going to take a beating and need work before they will be able to be groomed. Hopefully it will not be as bad as that.

Doin the dance. Up here in the Kingdom, of Vermont, we got about 11 inches of snow, then it kicked over to freezing rain, then back to snow. The way it stands as we speak, have about 9 inches of wet packed snow, temps are dropping to the single digits....and here's our base. Yahoo, making tracks

We got all rain down here in CT...not that that really matters to many of you. What is important is that the northern New England aras are starting to stack up and from the sounds of things we are off to a descent start as far as a base goes.

...of course it would be nice to get a good dumping down here in flatlander country to go for a little rip around the yard at least...

As long as it doesn't get really warm again it will make a great base. But I just looked at the forecast and it says 47 degrees for monday

Snowing now in Portland. 3-6 by days end. No-easter coming this weekend. Should be groomed trails next week.

SPECIALLY IN DENMARK, ME!

Good thing we waited to ride the snow instead of the rocks. Doh!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Yeah but your sled is locked up on the busiest steet in town 7 miles from your house so you can't ride it anyway. Seems to me the only fun you'll be having in the snow is snowblowing the driveway...
