Woodford VT (southwest) has excellent riding right now.

How much is there on the ground? I am wondering how the trails are going to hold up with the regular riders and in a month the huge CF ride

I'd say a 3'+ base packed and groomed. Your main trails(like 7N)is a little rough, but that makes it fun. plenty of snow to come, and the Woodford SnoBusters keep the trails up incredibly. The elevation is so high they pretty much get snow every night, so there's no need to worry!

The storm from Yesterday was great. We ended up with over a foot! Now it is snowing again. I would say easily 3 feet on the ground

Hopefully we get a lot out of the storm later this week. Early predictions are 6-12 inches.

I've been asked to sticky another seasonal New England snow conditions report. Given the weather forecasters predict snow in northern ME, this might be a good time to start it.

I saw that on the weather this morning. Hope fully we don't get it. From the storm Wednesday we got about 8inches here in the Portland area with about an inch of crusty icy snow on top.

At least the weather reports are saying we are going to stay on the cold side. Might not get much snow out of it. As long as it is not rain we will be all set.

Maybe in Portland. In Vermont it is supposed to be warming up. Right now 36 Sat with freezing rain/sleet, 41 Sat with freezing rain/sleet and 37 Mon cloudy. Hopefully the temp drops this weekend and we get a little more snow. Somehow I doubt it but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Right now the trails are perfect!!! VTP.

51 degrees today. Snow took a beating. Still looks like we have a decent base though.
