what else would need to be changed besides the spindles to fix the trailing angle? the work doesnt bother me.
I was under the impression that you would have to change your tie rods, steering arms, and torsion bars but....after looking on the Holtz website it appears that I was wrong. When I was looking into updating to the '06 spindles, my stealership told that I'd have to change all that stuff. According to the Holtz website you just change out the spindles. Now I have something else on my wish list!
is there a certain year stock spindle that i can replace my 05 with that will fix the trailing angle or are all years this way?
no they are after market.
fussion900pa should chime in soon he had them on his. From what i hear slydog skis work just as good for have the price

Does anyone know how to get a speedometer sensor housing back on? There's a jackshaft gasket in there you have to line up and everything. I know you may have to loosen the track but how loose? All the way? I have an 05 900 fuse.
Note:I'm repeating this til someone has an answer. Quote originally posted by 800storm

You don't have to loosen the track at all. It's two or three nuts that you take off, the hub comes off and the sensor just clips on. 5 minute job tops. Its right below your secondary clutch.

I used some rivits with washers on top of the rubber to prevent the boot from ripping. Did it about 1000 miles ago and they are still holding.

It's not a 5 min job until you realize one of the flangette bolts is bent. Once I bent it back it slipped right in the holes.
I got the speedo housing back on after cleaning it out. Before the digital and analog mph would bounce around all different speeds. Now it's pinned ar 120 mph both analog and digital. WTF? anybody know why?

I've read the different threads on clutching, but I was wondering, has anyone used the
EPI/Polaris clutch kits? Are they worth the 125$ they're selling for? Are they compairable to the setups that have been recomended by others?

How do you know? Has this happend to you already? Cause I've read where other guy's speedos were doing this and they replaced the sensor and it did nothing. Then they replaced the MFD and the voltage regulator and still nothing. And one guy said his dealer found a wire rubbing against a fuel line. yikes!
