Shnill what did you use to polish your tunnel? My viper I bought last year came polished from the previous owner but i don't know how to get rid off the scuff marks. A buddy of mine said he wet sands his with 2000 or higher grit sand paper... but i don't trust him lol.

Never Dull works really well for polishing aluminum. WD-40 works good for preserving.

I was wondering the same thing, because earlier in the evening I was polishing the tunnel on my iqr and the traction plates ate the sh1t out of the ball.
Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

I agree! It's like a never ending job keeping it clean, then you get one little scratch in it and it looks like crap again!

Hmmm...that might be worth trying...sounds simple enough!
I like to ride. Even if you have a Doo/Yami/Cat/Poo, so be it. I bought my snowmobile to have fun, not to tell everyone mine is better than yours. My preference...POLARIS, BABY!

The ball actually holds up better than expected, going over rivets and such. Of course, if you have rivet holes or other areas where the ball will get ripped apart, you have to be bit careful. Try it, its much easier to hold the drill in one place then it is to apply all the elbow grease for the same result!

I would have to ride with felt boots if I had tunnel like that. Nice job.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
