So I've seen Slednecks X countless times and every time I watch it through to the end past the credits. Those of you that have seen the movie and have watched through the credits know that someone attempts the train gap on a 2-up SkiDoo. Obviously this guy cases the **** out of that gap, am I missing something because it looks like this dude should be dead. I have searched the internet and this site to find any information on that scene but can't find anything. What is the deal with that scene such as who was it and what happened to him and what the hell was he thinking?
"Well Dad i grabbed a fist full of the Go-Stick and, well, as you can see the sled is in that hole now."

I'm pretty sure that it was a dummy that they put on the sled. Not a real person.

They must of used a dummy because that M-1000 barely made the gap.
-To ride or not to ride, what a stupid question!
-You should never judge a guy until you have walked a mile in his shoes, then you are a mile away and have his shoes
-Ice, snow, or grass, I'll still kick your ass.

haha yea... me neither i'm digging it out right now and watching it as I type. To me it looks like he has very lifelike movements at take off and in the air when it could be argued the camera cuts away from the obviously alive person who drives the sled up for the approach. If the dummy theory is correct that would be when they splice in the clip of the fake guy riding the sled, be that the case though it looks as though the sled takes off from the same point as the real approach took place. Also the probability of the sled maintaining that straight of a line off the jump un-piloted remains very slim. The dummy theory is probably the answer to this question but then again how long has Oswald been dead and people are still spouting off about the grassy knoll.

I don't try and rationalize the actions of those who get on a SkiDoo or have gotten on any BRP machine in the past, makes my head hurt.
And no Snowguy, the only ones i have seen are 7,8, and 10. I suppose some context could have helped in avoiding this entire thread. Also, quite off topic but I notice I now have a star next to my post count, I have actually been waiting for one of those for quite some time now. Sorry for corrupting my thread

And why is it that you hate BRP so much? Because they are pretty much dominate in the world of racing? Haha. JP. But it is actually one of the better brands for sno-x and what-not ( or was )

It's not so much that i hate BRP, it's more of I would rather not associate myself with SkiDoo's. Tucker Hibbert could mop the floor with any sled in snocross and he chooses to ride Cat. Just not a huge Doo fan.

isnt tuckers dad a engineer for arctic cat? so is it really a choice or a family thing? he is a GREAT rider, im sure he would rock on any brand sled.

Yes his name is Kirk Hibbert and he is a technology developer for the race department as far as i know. He also races/raced(i haven't been around the circuit for a few years) and i actually had the chance to meet him a couple times and hang out in the factory race trailer a few times. A friend of mine who used to race would buy Cat factory race sleds the year after they were new technology and had been run by the factory riders. Very nice guy, when my buddy drove to his house to pick up one of the sleds he had them into their home for a while.
Agreed Tucker Hibbert has a God given gift and would no doubt dominate on most any machine. I say most any because i am still a skeptic on Yamaha's race sleds.

they cut out when the guy is riding and then edit it to switch over to the dummy. and how it stayed on track look closely there is two rutts of snow on each side to keep it in line. lol i thought it was real at first. but then watched it over and over on youtube. but that was wicked sweet when the sled just jammed it and was redlineing it.

No matter what brand of sled, there is no way a touring sled would make that gap and they knew it and no one is stupid enough to attempt it. Also, there isn't even a twich coming from the legs.
