You can see an inset section in the middle, that is where it is vented, and where my amp mounts, keeps the fron of the box flat, even with the amp mounted.

If you cant fix it with duct tape, tylnol, or band aids your screwed.

What kind of subs did you put in that shallow box? xcedge like I said before there are a few different types of shallow subs. I see them like everywhere. JBL, Pioneer, MTX, and Fosgate you just gotta adventure outside of Pembroke lmao.
If you cant fix it with duct tape, tylnol, or band aids your screwed.

If you look closely... you can see they are Alpine E-types. Not really designed to be a shallow sub actually. That said, they are quite shallow.

hey man good job on the box a little carpet and you will be all ready to go... should deffetnly look clean in the truck with all your wires hiddin... i also had troubles when i bought my truck to put my stero gear in it very little room in a regulr cab truck for subs i ended up getting a box made to the demsions i had behind my seat and also had a mounting plate for my amp and batery cap made... the box fits but im not very happy with the finshed product for the price i paid for it i think i will be going to 10's the 12' take up so much room ... those alpine subs should sound really good in your truck some good speakers and tweeters and you will be all set .... some pics of it instaled would be cool to see as well

i didnt carpet it, didnt see much use, seeing as i dont really care what it looks like. my trucks a pos so why waste time making a custom box look any differant. I had pictures of it on my camara, but i formatted it by accident, now i have my winter subs and amp in. you'll have to wait untill spring to get anypics, that is if my truck makes it untill spring.

weather you think highly of your truck or not stero gear is always able to be transferd from vehicle to vehicle so if your gear is top notch when u get a beter truck you will be all set nice truck and nice stero gear but good luck with your set up...
