Add a leaf to the rear and turn up the torsion bars. You get about 2" of lift and you can fit in some bigger tires for another 1"-2". I did that on my old 99. You can go to a junk yard and get a rear leaf for cheap. And with some turning of the wrench, it's done. Very simple.

I need big jugs on my sled, cuz my girl doesn't.

Nice chebby. Def need at least a 2" lift. DO the leafs and torsion bars. Very cheap and effective. Just make sure you get an alignment after you mess with the torsion bars or itll burn the tires real bad.

I used to have fun in the off season with this. Sold her a few years ago though.
4 in lift, 35" tires, 4:56 gears, 12 bolt rear, posi front and rear. She was an animal. Man I miss that truck

lol some of these look like they should be in advertisement for this truck. Very high quality camera you must have been using. Plus the locations and timing you took these pics just look like a commercial to me. lol

sweet blazer i love those older chevys lookin good with the 35's and by the sound of it she worked pretty good to ... and for the the leaf in the back thats what i would do if i was lifting it how ever for the jacking of the torsion bars im not a fan of that rout if i do it ill be putting a suspension lift in the front and leafs in the back from what iv seen with the jacking the torsion bars write up alot of premature ball joint wear and like u said alot of people dont align it up eather and makes it hard on the tires it is very temtping tho ... and the pics were taken with just a cheap canyon camra ha ha i have to give the credit to my best frined for those pics hes pretty good when it comes to snaping pics

This is just at my house goofing around yesterday.
98 Cherokee Sport: 4.5 in. suspension lift, bushwacker flares, custom front bumper, new sound system, five point bucket seats, 4:56 gearing, chrysler 8.25 in rear w/ posi and locker, stock front, 32 x 11.5 coopers (shown) and spare 33 x 12.5 wrangler mudders, magnaflow exhaust, k&n intake. Soon to come: roll bar, rock sliders, skid plate, roof rack etc. This thing is an amazing off roader. It has amazing flex and its light weight compensates for its low horse (200).

Thats a nice looking 7.3. My brother has a 97, sitting at either 226 or 236k miles. We took it up to Michigan after new years, 1000+ miles in 2 days and never had a problem. A couple of his buddies have 7.3s, and a few of em pull at the fairs. Im thinking about trying to find one this spring for my first truck. But where is your front licenses plate? I always thought it was illegal to not have a plate on the front in Ohio.

^^^^He has it on. Look in the second pic. I believe his is the one in the middle? Right below and between the lights on the grill. You can see it in the first too. Yes it is illegal in most states. Nice rig btw.

Heres some pics from today. Ground is frozen so the only mud is snow melt. But I just kinda took it easy for its first run out, nothing serious yet.
