I finally decided enough's, enough, the green has to go on my 93 trail. I have a red/black/white jacket, and a red/black/white helmet, and i cant go another season not matching. What i plan to do is...
-change the hood to a black one, possible decal it red.
-paint my green nose cone, which used to be red, Black.
-cut down my windshield and black it out.
-get rid of the green decals on the bumpers and tunnel, then polish the tunnel
-recover the seat, currently two tone Grey, get it all black with red piping.
-red running board trim and grips.
-red sliders, and 4 new red idler wheels.
-red screens
-possibly red hand guards and grips.
I would like to do some mech. stuff, pretty much just maint. though. I plan to do all the bearings on the skid. I also bought a set of SLP fuji 500 twin pipes for it. which would include jetting, and clutching, possibly porting. Unfortunately i have been told that they aren't going to work. serves me right for impulse buying with out looking into things.
So far i have bought a black hood, and am in the process of undecaling it(which isn't fun at all! never want to do it again). i have removed all the green from the sled and tunnel that wont be going with the hood, and taken the seat in to be recovered.
I will add pics shortly

Dude I'm crying just a little inside , that is what my first sled was still have it, but I don't think I could have changed it to anything but what it was. I did put the '94 seat, trailing arm decals, lower windsheild but its not on it in these pictures, boggy wheels, and painted the front shock springs, but otherwise I loved the way it looked and I bought a blue jacket, black pants and helmet so I sorta went with the sled.
 My old sled
But everyone likes something different, so good luck with your cosmetic changes, I'm sure its going to look great when its done.

i should also mention my green hood is all smashed up, which is another reason why I'm changing it, and why i bought a new hood and didn't just paint the old one.
I have started switching everything over to the new hood. i also realized that the xlt hood is a little different then the trail hood. the trail hood has the clutch side vents cut out, but the xlt is solid. I'm wondering if It'll be fine like that, or should i try to open those vents up?
Also thinking now i might paint my gauge/headlight pod black, it is not quite black now. are they all a little Grey?

Well i drilled out the vents, with two 1/2" holes in each. I also started polishing my tunnel, ran out of polish before i finished though.
The new hood is all together, now I'm just waiting for the nose cone to dry.

ohh, i guess i should mention... i sold the pipes. i didnt want to mess with the reliability of it.
i am having more trouble then i thought finding a skid for it. everybody in canada wants $400+ for a xtra10 with any kind of fox.
