Isn't there a dealer your dad can call? Why would he change them if he is getting a Fusion anyway?

you should look into upgrading to the fox floats. I have riden some demo yamahas with the fox floats and I thought they were very nice shocks ore even the new air 2.0. Just giving some other options for him.

Can afford to turbo a sled, but not buy shocks? A set of Floats will cost half of what it will cost to turbo a sled. He can have all the horsepower in the world but if it doesn't ride worth a crap he will have a sled that he won't enjoy riding. I guess it depends on what his priorities as a rider are.

He justs contradicts himself on all his threads. Gets old coming on here everyday and seeing BRP-4-LIFE on the active topic forum. Just look at his avatar, it says BRP-4-LIFE and then no longer riding a brp machine. WTF, its ridiclous. Then he'll reply to your post with some jack ass answer because he tries to sound like he knows what he is talking about with all the years experience he has riding and wrenching on sleds. I think all the negative ratings he is getting is great, his posts dont stay up for more than 5 minutes.

half???? geezus it will cost him 4-6k to turbo that sled and do it right.

Why not just get a hold of the guy you busted his balls about not being an advertiser here, even though he was, and have a set rebuilt.

Bruce at Pioneer is out your direction. Would be cheaper than new shocks, can add a better valving package and be done with it.

Seriously - is this just about attention? Did you really need to come here to post a question you obviously had other means to gain the answer.

I could post a few pics that would go along nicely. But the mods keep kicking them out.

Seriously Sean, this isnt rocket science. Hundreds of people can rebuild those shocks for a fraction of new ones. But if you want a set of Fox Floats for the front, TY is a set for 450.

I guess my question is why your dad would get rid of his RX-1 for a Confusion anyway? Guys he shouldnt be able to afford the shocks, he has a big house payment remember?

Yeah, only problem is money. He was looking at the Float 2.0, and the Ohilins Piggybacks, but he can't take the hit financially. He can get a set of brand new rx-1 mountain shocks and springs right now for under 200 shipped, and wants to do it, but are they softer or harder?

Give him the money you owe him and that would be a start to his new shocks

My question is who's giving RX-1 mountain sled shocks and springs away for $200, brand new? You can't buy one shock for $200, if they're rebuildable.

I will post in every friggen topic I care to there lil fella!

At any time do you ever think you brought this on to your self?

I gave you viable alternatives, you were spouting off like a big shot to timespentsearching the other day bout not being an advertiser about him posting shock rebuilding specials. Never mind diamond shocks was all over the top of the site.....

Have him rebuild them, cheaper and better than new. Think about it.

Good luck with the turbo build....I suppose if it doesnt work, eats half the engine he can blame it on Yammi and go buy that Fusion your trying to talk him into.

P.S I have nothing to do for about an hour...... Im going to continue posting wherever and whenever I want. Regardless of your tirades :)

just go get them re-built. i thought you said you know a couple dealers with cheap shocks, or was that a lie. cant afford 300 for shocks but can build and design his own rear mount turbo. something isn't adding up.

Before I continue, if I don't keep this sled for the whole season, I promise to never sign on to Snowmobile Fanatics again.

Enough with the damn bashing. I asked a simple question.

And he's building the turbo kit, not buying it. He designed a special flow system for the oil pump for the turbo if you must now, and hes running a garret T3 turbo for those who most know, its rear mounted, and will use one exhaust pipe for the are inlet with a filter, and one for the actual exhaust.

Now, if you people don't have the info I'm looking for, don't post in my damn topics. Simple as that.

You have no clue what your talking about. How about you stop posting meaningless threads every day? Nobody takes you seriously, so your never going to get a real answer. GIVE IT UP.
