it is just abused and makes people think they are gods. I hardly even post anymore cuz there is not ONE thread that isnt F'ed up with that +1 crap.

I don't know why it's such a big deal? In the end, it doesn't matter. Those who constantly rate the same person negatively end up getting a poor score themselves. I have the algorithm all figured out I just haven't implemented it yet. Just because someone gives a post a -1 doesn't mean you have to make a big deal out of it.

no but its freaking annoying. cuz most of the time the post is blocked for no good reason at all. Just because some stupid baby didnt hear what SHE wanted to.

i had to give both of your posts negitive numbers. in fact i went back and had to give moto a negitive.
I use it on the people i know just for fun of it. does it really matter? no, do you loose sleep at night because you got a negitive post?
I just find out who gave me a negitive and send a virous to there computer.

I see your point in this, it only bothers me when a post gets a -7 or something like that and I have to click "view anyways" on every other post, it gets old 
When I see posts with negatives, that don't deserve them. Most of the time I just give them a positive just to even it out some.

I agree with SS on this one. Giving blanket - to individuals just because you don't like them regardless of their input to the topic at hand is extremely juvenile. I assume we are on this forum to help each other with sleds, to talk about and discuss the sport we all enjoy. I also find it annoying to have to click "view anyway" because of the "junior high school" type mentality of some of the posters here. I think we need more snow.

What about my posts has offended you (or anyone) to get a negative rating? I post a lot here, hopefully sometimes someone is able to gain some useful information from my experience. its a good system that is abused by a few. i know that some people will give a few members a - just because of who they are not due to content which is annoying, but if its not one of the of "damned" members with -'s then the post normally deserve the -'s.

I really like the feature in the performance tuning shop area. If I see a post that is way wrong (someone helping diagnose someones sled when they do not have a CLUE).. it is very easy to rate it a negative instead of quote it and tell them they are wrong.
In the same respect, I see one I like, it gets a plus. Really helps out the thread starter as to who to listen to.
People abuse it at times also. For no reason at all you can get a negative. Example, the other day I think I welcomed someone to the forum. I got a negative. I am sure the reason is that I am a moderator and I closed someones posts at one time and they got cranky about it. But I guess that stuff is unavoidable unless their privledge is taken away.
