No we didn't, we stopped at the elbow lake store for one though. The guy I was with wanted to go to Pike lake, he was thinking there was a resort there. Looks like there use to be?

Just got back from a 300 mile ride up in the Itasca State Park area. Rode everywhere from Walker to Wabasha and had perfect trails the whole time. Won't be much left after tomorrow in the openings though. Looks like it may have been our last real ride for the year.

i know he could not have been to Wabasha, just a little brown down there.
saturday we went from Big Fork to Cook, up to international falls, down to almost northhome and then back east to Big fork for the night. 305 miles for the day. was a bit tired. trails were good except for the Arrowhead Trail. yesterday (sunday) they were pretty beat so we only put on 65 miles and had to pack it in to drive home.

I'd be looking for any reports from the Lake of the Woods area. I'm wondering if it would be rideable this coming weekend. The weather forecast for Warroad actually doesn't look too bad. I'd consider riding the lake trails, and the land trails on the Northwest Angle. And, if possible, the land trails around Warroad, Baudette, and into Beltrami Island State Forest. Any news from that part of the world?

Supposedly, the Arctic Cat test riders have been on Lake of the Woods this week and people are riding up there. Most of the riding looks like it's north of the border into Ontario, though. I'm going to buy an Ontario permit next year, because missing all this late-season riding so close to home is really bothering me. Warroad is only 265 miles from me.

1st of all the real weight of the xp is 439.
2nd it is how the engine makes the hp through out the rpm range.
3rd the Dragon 800sp has the Ripsaw track 1.25.
4th ,you have no idea of what you are talking about.
5th get the F-CK out and stop bashing.
6th your Mach z 1000 is a chit box.

It's far from rideable right now. Even if we get 12" the riding will suck with all the standing water and mud.

The NWS is predicting 15-20" in the Alexandria area by Wednesday morning. Not bad for almost April.

when I was there I thought it was great! But it was the first time I had been that way, in the hills and the woods like that. The snow was pretty good, but that was before all the warm weather. I will be back that way next season for sure!! My wife wants to move to the hawley area, so I know where I would be riding!! haha
