We've got 2-3 inches not enough to really ride but I took the iq for a rip today around the yard..

Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

...MAJOR WINTER STORM EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND...

A POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP IN THE CENTRAL PLAINS ON
SATURDAY...THEN TRACK INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS ON SUNDAY. SNOW IS
LIKELY ACROSS ALL OF EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA
SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY. SNOW MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY. IN ADDITION...STRONG NORTHERLY
WINDS MAY GUST OVER 40 MPH ON SUNDAY AND MAY PRODUCE BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS AT TIMES LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.
SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE...AND ROADS MAY
BECOME DRIFTED SHUT AND TRAVEL MAY BECOME IMPOSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY.

TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO FALL WELL BELOW ZERO BY SUNDAY NIGHT...AND
DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS FROM 25 TO 45 BELOW WILL RESULT. HIGH
TEMPERATURES ON MONDAY WILL REMAIN WELL BELOW ZERO.

THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT TRAVEL ACROSS
THE REGION SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. WHILE THE EXACT
TRACK AND EVOLUTION OF THIS STORM IS STILL SOMEWHAT UNCERTAIN...IT
APPEARS LIKELY THAT THE REGION WILL EXPERIENCE A POTENTIALLY LIFE
THREATENING STORM SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.

PREPARE FOR THIS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS STORM NOW AND TAKE THE
NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. STAY TUNED TO
LATER STATEMENTS ON THIS MAJOR WINTER STORM.

8 or so inches in Isabella - the storm this weekend should help if it shows up ---

NOTE regarding MN SF ride last weekend in January - Knotted Pine has a snowmobile club looking to book a batch of cabins that same weekend - Anyone planning on a cabin that weekend needs to call KPI ASAP

Nah, leave it up there, much better riding. We'll just have to stay at my cabin!

If anyones looking for an accurate winter weather forecast for the midwest check out johndee.com
He updates it once every weekday morning and is about the best there is when it comes to where the snows gunna fall and how much.

We got the slightest dusting around Alexandria yesterday, just enough to get me all hyped up!

I hope you get a lot of snow like they are talking about. I'll be bringing my sled up next weekend if that is the case. Just leave a little untouched for me!

I've been hearing sleds ripping it up all day. I wonder what they're riding on? There's not that much snow. That's gonna change tomorrow though.!

at least 3 inches new snow so far this morning. could be more but with the winds it is hard to tell. but it is coming down so hard I can't see across the field to the trees. i just heard it is suppose to hit -20f tonight and a high of around zero for the next couple of days. damn now i have to go to the pole building and get that new idler wheel on the skid before it drops
