By the way, be careful on the lakes still. I rode on ours today, and it wasnt frozen in some spots, it was slushy and i rode over it before i noticed it. There are still ice houses and cars out there, but on that side where we rode it was very slushy on top.
Where is minnesota usa? I dont get it. Why dont you just put in where you are from?? Sure i can just punch in your zipcode but wtf?? why not just put your city in so when you talk about slush on lakes we dont have to google your zip code?? I see other guys on here that put their age as 1 year old and i dont get that either.
Wow chill out haha. I dont know why the usa part is on there but i can change it cuz i understand what your saying.

Well I just got home from 2nd grade hoops, we have more than the first reported 2 inches! probably closer to 4, the wind is just starting and its still coming down nicely in the alexandria area! 40 MPH winds will suck but i will take the snow!

Dang! How do you have 827 miles this year already? I just talked to someone east of town, and he says he's got over 4". I better go out and pack some of this snow down before it all blows away! Wind is already starting to come up.

Just got back from a ride in the Duluth area. Trails are groomed and in nice shape. About a foot of powder in the fields with another 10inches expected for tonight.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Put on miles on the trails and ditches in the alexandria area, probably picked up 5-6 inches, wind came up and temps have dropped big time -12 right now with 25 mph winds! So the ride was cold as hell. Did 35 miles on the central lakes trail headed east of alex, trail was ok, not great, made it just about to west union and ran out of snow on the trail. Turned around and headed home. Frozen by the time we got home. I dropped off my family and then headed out for ditch riding, headed north of alex hwy 29, ditch pump full of snow on the side wind filled. Awesome dift busting. Out to carlos and tunred around. So i got 50 some cold miles. Decent snow, but trails will be thin in spots due to wind!

Got over a foot of fresh this weekend in Finland. Crazy riding, I'll probably make a trip into SB for hockey practice tomorrow. This year looks like it will be a great snow year.

Wallygator and me went up to the mighty vacationair Thurs. nite until today. Just a LITTLE bit of snow to play in. Managed 300 miles riding Fri. and Sat. on trails, logging roads and some exploring on some little trails. Anywhere from 15 to 25 inches of snow. More snow down by Finland than Isabella. Starting out for the first ride of the year. First stop at section 29 lake. A lot of slush on the lake. Dead end on a little one lane trail. The BWCA border. Wallygator doing some trail side maintenance on his communicator, Broke the bracket on a branch. Just a narrow trail in the middle of nowhere. Logging road by bone lake. First one's on it this year. Lunch at the Trestle inn. Wallygator in some powder on the Whyte road. Just getting onto the Youkon trail off of the Whyte road. Sled full of snow. Sat. morning, let Wallygator lead for awhile, Had to get the GPS out because he was leading us in circles. The trees are growing out of the rock. Still looking healthy. Some fun powder on the Souju lake road. A couple of crappy videos on the Souju lake road. Lots of snow to play in but there isn't much of a base yet. A lot of powder so it will take a little time for is to settle. Most of the trails are rolled with a packer and some of them are groomed. Shaping up to be a good year.

440s are good enough, if you have even a 1.25" lug track you can be fine...
Ya i thought we were going to have some bad ass big drifts today, since it was blowing for almost 2 days straight after it snowed.. Nope.. It sucks out there, it blowed so much it basically filled the drifts into road height and thats about it.. Might be good drifts out somewhere tho, ill have to go check the other highways out and see. The snow was pretty hard today tho, gotta get a little softer for some good riding.

3-6 more inches by tomorrow afternoon here in the Fargo/Moorhead area. And i heard there might be another big one coming this friday!!!
I hope I die like my grandpa did - quietly in his sleep... not like the rest of the people in the car.
