That one water hole looks popular lol. The one in all those videos is all the same place right? I did it a few times but only like 10 fet and becuase I had too. I am still not that confortable on a sled to try it on purpose.
If you cant fix it with duct tape, tylnol, or band aids your screwed.

how fast do you need to go to. i knowthis isa stupid question but do thing my SRV could make it?
You SRV would make it- used to have that sled plenty of power. I actually used to have a old picture of 3 people stuffed onto a SRV crossing water.

Have never actually crossed water, but I have crossed ditches that were flooded. The only reason I have never done it is because I really haven't had a good opprotunity. If I saw the chance I would do it.
me too, but when i see the chance to cross lots of water, ill use someone else's sled

my friends and myself go to this place called the ismus it is open all winter i had a formula z, my friend mark had a 97 formula 3, my friend james had a 79 citation and my other friend robert was on a 4 wheeler i had never skipped and neither did my friend james mark did all the time , so mark went across a few times so my friend james said he was gonna do it on his citation , the citation had a pair of vice grips for a throttle but he did it like 3 times so i figured if he could do it on his 79 then i could do it on my 583. that was the first time i did it .
The gap was about 200 yards

well thats good news but now i know im going to have to test it. guess we'll see what happens
Bambi would have been a better and shorter movie if he was shot in the beginning with his mother
if a ride on lawn mower takes bumps better than your sled, its time to upgrade

it was tight. this one time i put 89 octane instead of 87 and my sled went like 60 times faster and i could water skip because it went really fast. i recomend 89 or 91 to anyone.

Me and my buddy's went riding up in lake country with a guy that he works with and he brought me straight to water. I think it was a dare thing to see if he could scare the #@%# out of me and yes it worked. But I went across probably six times. 100 yd stretch. To this day I still think I had the wet farts. It really isnt that bad.
