I have a 97 vmax. We were out riding for about an hour when it would reev at 3200 rpm at an idle. When you give it throttle it would just bog out. If you put your hand over the airbox it would rev up and run fine. As soon as you let of the throttle it would bog again. Any one have any idea what could be the problem ??

Before I continue, if I don't keep this sled for the whole season, I promise to never sign on to Snowmobile Fanatics again.

check your boost bottle and or intake boots make sure reed cage and carb intake is all tight. check before tou ride if it's sucking air like it sounds it will blow up.If that's not it override your t.o.r.s. temporarily
