so, today i was going out to hanmer to give my dad my truck for a couple days cause he has to return his lease, well on my way there he called me and was like, bring your sled and well ride a bit, so i was all pumped to ride, get there unload and had a great day of rideing in lots of powder, then it all goes bad, i got stuck, so i shut it off and started moving it around so i can drive out, go to start the sled, nothing! pull cord doesent catch, i was furious, after playing with it for about 45 minutes, finally get it to grab, start the sled and its running on 2 cylinders, i say'd w.e ill just drive it home like this, , almost home, we have to ride a rail bed, so were cruising im in front, and Sh*t i miss the trail.. , then BANG! i his a rail road tie, ( the metal thingers), head on,, sled takes the ditch and thank god nothing hapend to me, well this is the damage from that..., i havent checked the track yet cause its to dark out but i hopeee i dident do any damage to it..

If you have the plastic peices that cracked or broke you could use a plastic welder and some plastic bonding stuff. Probably wont look brand new but it will be better then having the couple of holes

Eh the west usually gets more mid season and it stays longer too. If I were you I'd be going over my sled very meticulously right now

I have been when i'm not checking every nut and bolt i'm sitting on it making engine noises and driving my wife crazy. also lived in the sierras for 22+ years and this is the second or third driest and warmest winters i have seen. Hopping for a wet second half of winter and cold spring

Railroad tracks hurt! a couple of my friends got wedged in a switch track 2 seasons ago, they make lots of damage really fast. Glad to hear you're OK.

Sounds like my ride on Friday!! We have about 3-4 inches where I'm at. I got about 2 miles away from my house & hit a culvert!!!! What really pisses me off is that I knew it was there!!!! Guess i was just too pumped to ride & forgot about it. Curled my ski right up into the belly pan!!!! Luckily i had an xtra, so I'm ready to go again.

Have you been able to get it fixed yet? What are you going to do about the cracks in the plastic?
