That's one side of the garage, and the other side just has out equinox, which isn't much to look at.

When I open my garage, this is what I see now :) I call them the twins...from other mothers. Man, I can't wait for snow!!

Its not a fireplace. Its a forced-air wood furnace. It distributes warm air through 3 outlets and exhasuts through a 6" metalbestos stainless steel chimney. I do still need to install some insulation at least in the ceiling, along with a ridge vent in the roof.
