here's the things i have ordered! Gotta love Ebay!

now i gotta find a place that sells the closest thing to arctic cat green for the screen kit. Any body have any luck finding spray bomb or automotive paint close to the green on arctic cats? I know the green has changed several times.. But what is everyone using? Thanks guys!

take them to a body shop and get them to color match the color might be a couple extra bucks but it will last longer without rusting or flaking , as for a windshield have you try'd royal distributing or parts canada dealers? or maybe even some parts yards and see if they have any of those windshields
nice sled though i have always liked those body styles , have fun

thanks man. I wish i had a paint code number so i could have the paint mixed from maslack. My old man has a body shop but we dont have 7 grand for a color coding machine.. just a lot of paint chip books! LOL..my sled was only running on one silender today and scare the **** out of me.. i thought the motor crapped out! luckily i just put new plugs in it and she purrs like a kitten again.. does this model go through plugs a lot?

i just typed in powermadd and i got that one used for about 20 bucks. It will be here in 2 days along with my handguards so we'll see how i like it. I'm thinking i will either need a 6 or an 8" to suit my riding needs.I'll post pics one install! I also got some sledneck stickers that need to be put on! My carbides are F'd so i'm thinking of just forking out the cash for some camo slydog's ( orange/grey/black ) and then saving up for the vynil wrap..still working on what i want to do tho.. I could use some ideas.. here's where i'm at now with it but i'm still not happy with the "final" product

layout so far

I think this is pretty much how it will sit for this season and a new seat, screens and 8" riser/handlebar set up in the summer. I may purchase some slydog skis.. we'll see!! :D

Hey, saw you were interested in doing a wrap on your sled. I specialize in sled graphics and if you don't have anyone in mind yet for the graphics I could help you out in that area. I could even get you some mock-ups if you had a theme or idea in mind for the hood.

for the chrome green windsheild i would call Artic Cat directly and ask them. they might be able to help you out. sometimes calling companies that make windsheilds directly you can get custom stuff. i did that with cobra. i got a custom blue checked for my Xc700.

1998 XC 700
XCF 440 hood
cobra low windsheild

------------

Nice lookin' machine.

When you get the chance (if you haven't already), fill that empty metal bracket on the belt guard with a spare belt.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
