sled problem - running crappy started by big113

hey guys i put a 600 ho outta 2006 polaris switchback from emerson stahl came with everything i need motor carbs cdi wiring put this in my old 440 iq race chassis i got everything done up and running but when i am running it reving it up engage the clutch it starts to back fire and a flame shoots from the pipe i took out the plugs they were wet put new ones in and it does the same thing i have 420 jets in there any ideas whats going on it idles fine?

i think 420s are a bit stout for a 600. i think you need to be at like a 380 or something like that. Well the plugs should be wet but if there soaking it shouldn't run all that well. Sounds like something is f*cked up

does anyone think by chance my temp sensor might be bad tell the motor its running hot hense running ****ty and backfiring?

well if there an excess amount of fuel it will build up in the exhaust and back fire

Rich conditon can cause backfire through the pipe.

Lean condition can cause backfire through the carbs.

Ignition Timing can cause both.

im pretty sure i got it i replaced the coolant sensor and seems to be running good knock on wood thanks for the suggestion everyone
