If you called poo,Guess what kind of parts they have? new!!!!!!!
Its like you buying a brand new sled for 9000 and then you ride it for 1000 miles.then in the spring you sell it.Are you going to sell it for 9000? Or cheaper?
Buddie ur just diggen ur self a deeper hole!

Well, babbitts sells OEM factory polaris parts, and it was almost $50 less! Wow! If I can find a lower a-arm for $60 used, I will be ordering it ASAP.

So you guys wouldn't buy a used car or sled, and trust it?
[/quote]

I have no problem with buying something used. But the parts that poo offers at the factory (Where they make them.) are NEW. And the USED parts are cheaper.

Quote originally posted by BRP-4-LIFE

1. Hung up on me.

2. I wanted to ask why they would charge almost 50 more than a website selling it used. Can someone explain that to me?

You asked if somebody could explain it to you so i did. There is a difference between new and used. The new cost more and the used cost less.
**** i fell like im talken to the wall.

If you do decide to go used and not New...Better inspect it for Cracks. IMO you should just purchase a New one if your looking for a cheap one it might end up being cheap. And don't try carving in a few inches of snow k or atleast make sure there isn't anything you can smack the A-Arm into.

Probably because the Poo rep asked your name. Since your a well known fool they were informed to charge you as much as they wanted.

So why come on here and whine about it. Order the damn part from Babbits already and get over it.

You are too immature to even be allowed on this site. I feel sorry for your parents.

You will lose brain cells trying to figure out his logic.

Erick, just ban him please. He offers nothing to this site, even bashing him is getting old. But we cant just let him get away with being an itiot.

Sean - seriously you spend every minute here, dont you have friends? Girlfriend to go annoy? Dont your parents want to spend time with you? Shouldnt you be at a job? Cleaning the shop? Anything....but leave us adults alone.

1. Polaris wants to get their full msrp outta the new parts you want.
2. Polaris dealers are sposta handle ordering parts for you, the factory doesnt have the time to fill every person's order directly nor would they want to go to all the trouble of picking your a arm and shipping it and recieving your $.
3. You can order a rush part from polaris through your dealership...polaris charges a $50 fee and shipping to do it for you, they probably quoted you that price.

Why not buy a new a arm? based on what u claimed happened to your (used) a arm having a new and unstressed one would be smart. Sure you have to pay more but I think you really do get what you pay for.

Don't get mad that the polaris factory doesnt have time during their bussiest time of the year to listen to you whine about what you think about a 3 or 4 year old sled u bought used. Sorry but you need to be realistic here before you bash polaris.

Polaris has a dealer cost far less than consumer. Some joe schmo calls and asks for a part they aren't going to give you dealer cost. Since ALS snowmobile "sponsers" you you should be able to get part at cost or close to it from him.

Hmm, the engine in my truck blew and it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg to fix. I should phone Ford and tell them I hate their F150 and see if I can get an engine cheaper that way.

I have a feeling it's not gonna work out though.
