ok well first im new to this site. but my problem is i bought a 96 polaris xcr and when i bought it the guy said that the brakes didnt work because he rebuilt the master cylinder and so that was the problem. so i bought whole new brake (a brand new one) and i just put it in and tried to bleed the brakes and none of the fluid went threw the line.... what do you think is wrong? would it be the line or the brake caliber? please let me know what you guys think. thank you very much

If the master cylinder won't push fluid through to make pressure,
then you most likely have a leak.
Look at the fitting where the brake line goes into the master cylinder in particular.
I'd probably start there and work my way through the system.

How are you bleeding it? Let gravity pull the fluid down first. Then try "pumping" it. But at first, only pump it once and open the bleeder. Then when fluid comes out, you can pump it a few times.
Are you checking the fluid at the bleeder or the line itself? If it's the bleeder, pull it all the way off and see if fluid comes out.
You may just have air trapped inside.

If you don't have any luck doing it the conventional way, get yourself a vacuum bleeder. I've got a Mityvac...works awesome. www.mityvac.com
