is the 600 in this sled a small block or big block? I believe it says Variable exhaust system on the hood but where are the valves? Does it have the VES valves? Buddy called me and asked, I guess he's trying to clean them but can't find them. i know what they look like on the small block 600's but not his. Any help????

Polaris man specs for the 2000 RMK 600 says that it is equipped with Keihin carbs, right there is all that is need to be known and as I suspected that model of sled has the big block NON-VES motor in it so you can tell him to stop looking for exhaust valves because there will be none to be found, if you want to look yourself go to:

Thank you very much. I was on the polarisman site but I had no idea about the carbs either.

Thanks, I know what they look like on the small blocks but I wasn't sure if his sled was the big block and if the big blocks came with the VES. I thought that only in 98 the 600 was a big block.

His sled has the 600 big block, without VES. The only 600 small block VES motor in 2000 was the 600 XCSP, my sled came stock with that motor. But his is the big block non VES motor.

Hope that helps ya.
