Buy the RXL, I have a 91 and it runs perfect, over 5500 miles no problems. It should go 95-100mph, its heavy but it has great mid range throttle response. With EFI it always starts 1-2 pulls no matter how cold. Make sure all your wires have good conections and you will be good to go.

why would you want to tho. I had a 95 rxl with a 90' indy 650 carbed motor in it. I wish it would have been efi, but the carb motor did run well.

1200 is too much for a 1993 sled not in moving order. Even in Canada. Maybe $1000 MAX. RXL are good sleds though.

That era rxl was known for e.f.i. brain malfunctions. I'd want sled running, and see it go, or ride it myself for twenty-thirty miles b-4 i spent a knickel. If he's your buddy than he'll understand. And I agree w/Dirty Harry that's DEFINATELY top dollar for that sled. Should be showroom. Good Luck
