A while back some one( who shall not be named ) made a topic about how his sled wouldn't carve well. There were many excuses discussed but I just wanted to show, said person, that it wasn't the sled, nor the snow conditions that prevented him/her from carving. Enjoy

Looks fun, but that kind of carving is very hard on the sled. I was doing that earlier this year and all I noticed was the smell of fresh cut grass. The side of the track spinning hard against frozen ground cant be good. Carving isnt hard, but its way more fun when theres loads of fresh snow.

The 440 is awesome. It has a small low end bog once it gets warmed up but I think its just a mis-adjusted air/fuel screw. It really likes to jump. I know that its hard on the track but I'm planning on getting rid of the track after this year and its really fun. I'll post up more videos later

is it still carving if there is only six inches of snow? Or is it just leaning over and spinning the track. I always tip on my side when I try in low snow conditions like that. (and it's not cuz I suck so keep it to yourself dick)
I've always called that blowing donuts.
What's your problem? RUFWM?

I always thought it was carving as long as you're not breaking through to touch the ground.

nice video :)
i have no problems carving in low snow with my indy, but i tried a summit rev. and it was really hard to carve with in little snow. the owner think its to.
so are older style sleds easyer to carve? or is it just me ?

I was definitely getting down to the ground but I would still call it carving. I would call it carving as soon as you start turning towards the way your leaning. I don't really care what its called, its fun

The newer revs are harder to get over to the balance point because they are taller. I don't think track height effects it as much as track length

They are a bit harder to get going but they carve just as good as any other sled. Any sled can carve it just depends on how comfortable the rider is with his sled
