Arctic cat running problems.

my friend bought a 94 arctic cat ext 580 efi, it runs, but it seems like once it finally heats up, it shuts off. we have no idea what the problem is,the efi box clicks when he turns the key on? idk if that has anything to do with it. it will be driving fine, then it will just shut off. please help

maybe carbs, maybe gaskets, check to see if all the seals are good.

Why do people anyways just wright "help"?, just put arctic cat running problem or something like that.

to tell you the truth, i dont know very much about the engine work, just components. so explain the seals in dummy terms, ha

We had a problem like that with a cougar we had. I believe it was a gasket problem, I'm not positive but I thought it was either the base gasket or the head gasket.

I dont have EFI but i am sure they dont have carbs.

oh yeah, check comp./do a leak down test.

Well, supersport06 is talking about my sled. I just charged the battery and I'm going to put it back in in the morning. Then I think I'm going to take it to get a diagnostics done.

Check to see if the rubber seals that go around the carbs, or efi, whatever it would be for that sled, and see that there are no rips, tears, and that they are flush and not letting air out. I admit, im no genius, but im just a guy who works on his sled.
