I think this is one of the best years yet. I think anywhere north of Hwy 8 is great. Might get a little more sparse down south. Rice Lake got over a foot of new snow last week.

I'm a little further north of Rice Lake and the trails are great. Excellent. Superb.
Now it's snowing again, another 5-7" coming tonight. So everyone please stay home until I can get out on the trails and make sure they are 'safe' for everyone. By the end of February, you should be able to come out and ride. HA!

Yeah we easily got 18" of snow but about 4-6" packed on the trail.

The trails are beat up around Rice Lake, good after you get 5+ miles North or South of town. Chetek lakes are horrible, really bumpy, trails around Chetek are in great shape for early season, even after getting only 1/2" of white stuff last night, instead of the forecasted 2-4". Have fun and stay safe!
